The School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences conducts education and research in the fields closely related to both the environment and life and develops talent who can thrive in the international community. The School is committed towards innovative and science based approaches to help meet the demands of an agricultural industry which is a key part of the world's food supply system. The rapidly growing population, changing climate and limited land and fresh water resources will impact on the ability of agriculture to meet demand. Science-based solutions are required to achieve these worldwide goals and for industry and community development.
