At KIU, we have a number of scholarships that can help ease your financial pressure and help make your studies more affordable. To be eligible for any of these scholarships, you must first apply for the scholarship before you apply for your course at KIU. Some of our Scholarships are:

  • Royal Highness Princess Royal Salote Mafile'o Pilolevu Tuita Scholarship

This Scholarship is offered to eligible research students who apply to study at KIU’s Campus in Tonga. The scholarship acknowledges the value KIU places on research and development perspectives. The scholarship provides a 30% reduction in your tuition fees for the duration of your course at KIU.

  • Chancellor Scholarship

The Chancellor Scholarship recognises the commitment and loyalty of international and domestic students who are KIU alumni, or have immediate family members who are KIU students or alumni. The scholarship offers a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of your course at KIU.

  • Merit Scholarship

The Merit Scholarship is offered to domestic students who have demonstrated high levels of academic achievement and English competency in their previous studies. The scholarship offers a 10% reduction in your tuition fees for the duration of your course at KIU.
