Accreditation or recognition is a professional review process of Educational Institutes by government or organizations established by the government to evaluate academic and administrative standards. The primary purpose of accreditation is to identify and achieve goals in order to protect the public and to establish and maintain high educational standards and ethical practices. An educational recognition by the government is mark of trust for the people that the said institution has met the approval qualifications. In most countries around the world, the function of educational accreditation for higher education is conducted by a government organization, such as a Ministry of Education.
